AGT Technology Ireland Ltd. uses Low Temperature Conversion (LTC) Technology to convert non-recyclable plastics into energy, gas, electricity or liquid fuels, with specific emphasis on non-recyclable plastics from the Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment ( WEEE ) Industry

LTC-Process
LTC is a thermo catalytic decomposition process operating without oxygen,  no combustion.

By gently heating the input-material to a conversion temperature below 600°C (incineration plants operate at 800-1200°C or higher) a synthetic gas (equivalent to natural gas) is produced. This gas is turned into electrical energy using turbine-generators. Further processing can produce liquid fuels.

No toxic gases, dioxins, furans etc. are generated. Inorganic materials such as metals are not overheated and pass through the LTC plant without generating any pollutants. The molecular structure of heavy metals is not broken down and do not dissolve. Pollutants in the gases are leached out, precipitated and dried and can be recycled or landfilled with no environmental impact
